So pretty much the smaller the numbers, the more speed?

Im getting all confused, I was recomended a ratio between 4.50 and 5.0 and im looking at a FDR sheet from gear chart, and im looking to see which spur will work best with the pinions I have, to get the ratios I want
Yes

Not trying to brush you off but you can always ask someone like Harshguy at SWR. They are a wealth of knowledge.

I like to run rubber tires cause I don't have to concern about rollout that much...but can someone please give me some ball park figure if I want to run foams.....what is the stock brushed rollout suppose to be..? And what about 13.5 brushless...?

If I am running foams...do I still need to know FDR? Or use rollout # only..? Thanks...

i have made programs for all this on my graphix caluclator...Top speed, wheel circumference, FDR, rollout, gearing...and more....2 find rollout....just get your wheel diameter and Pi it...then divide by your FDR.

e.g

63mm X Pi = 193mm (in my head) / 5.96 (my ratio)=aroud 33.2

easy
