ok..sry for taking it so personally.as you can see<------tech initiate.

so for the one who would like to do this, this is how.you go to ebay and look for a blinking led key chain.then you take it apart.you pull out the led thats there and then you put some pins at the end of the wires of the leds your using.then you solder some wires to the + and - on the chip that has a 9v battery clip.you have to mess with the configuration before you do some soldering.leds only work in a certin way.one you get it working you solder everything together.heres a more detailed look at what i did:

thanks for everyones intrest and apologize for taking others comments so personal.

I never took anything personally... Like I said this forum is pretty much all racers... I thought it was really cool and although I wouldn't do it with headlights I've been wanting to get a Caprice body and make myself a police car, which you're setup would be perfect on.... You really didn't need to do those few bumps here, people will eventually find it...

Maybe I would do the headlights and rear lights too... Now I'm talking to myself like someone else here... Senility is setting in early...

If you know anything about wiring, it would be just as easy and cheap to make up a flashing light circuit with a LM555 timer for about $1? Then you could make your lights flash at what ever speed you want.
