4-cell packs and a smart-tray?
#1

Is it okay to equalize 4-cell packs on a novak smart tray (original, not SE)?
I see that I need to match the positive and negative leads on the pack to specific points on the tray, I assume with saddle-style packs I would jsut spread them to either end of the tray, no?

okay cool, so you just hav eit centered on the tray. The positive and negative poles dont have to be aligned with the marked posts on the tray.
thanks dude.

Apparently it works in the center like that but it is not the method the instructions say:
"Some packs may need to be put in upside down to match up properly & packs with fewer than 6 cells need to be placed all the way to the left side of the Smart Tray with the negative end of the pack matching with the "–" mark."
You can find the instructions at www.teamnovak.com in the Downloads link.

Yeah when I first got mine from ebay I would put them all the way to the right because that's where the + side was. Then I downloaded the instructions from Novak and have been following that ever since.
