I have a orion 19t motor in my tc3, but its a bit sluggish. Whats a good spur/pinion setup to start out with. I am switching to 64pitch gearing as well.

I run my element 19T at 72/26 in my TC3. I run mine with Red Green and sprints

That would be 34.6/96 in 64P

General rule of thumb: Your car should reach maximum speed at 3/4 of the longest straight. Open tracks: One more tooth on the pinion. Tight tracks: Maybe one teeth less.

thanks for the info... i ran it yester day with 74spur / 22 pinion. still sluggish a bit. but i think i need to service the motor.. comm cut and new brushes
