Should i put a capacitor on my keyence like the novak?

I don't use one on mine - actually I think the instructions say not to use one.

My keyence A-01 Infinity has a small 100uf cap on it.

in the keyence manual i got when i reviewed the extreme, it said a power cap was useful but not essential when using a motor less than 15 turns or when the frequency was set to less than 2khz.

recommendation is 6800uF or higher, low impedance
