Guys, sorry to bother you all, im new to electrics.

Are the 5.000mah NIMH packs from Venom worth for racing ?

No, you may have a chance if you rebuild them in SxS configuration and use good solder and bars. You will have better luck with EP4200 cells.

What is the discharge rate? I prefer the IB4200 above these.

I would go with matched IB4200 cells.

If Venom is just throwing them straight into stick packs and the other companies are not even testing or matching them, my guess would be that if you tried to discharge that pack at 35 amps you would be very disappointed.

I just saw on E-bay they want $70 plus shipping for that Venom 5000mah stick pack!.....no thanks.
