Nice teaser shot there Dennis, looks ultra low, if it has a top deck it is at same level as the cells, the rear shock tower looks very short, i would think smaller shocks are required (i never did understand why such high volume shock are required)

points to note, i hope the layshaft pullies are not too small, they would require more tension and hence more drag not to skip. And secondly would love to see a lightweight sealed gear diff tried in electric tourers, to get more direct drive, and also to handle the ridiculous power we have nowadays, really sick of rebuilding ball diffs every handful of runs.

When this layout work on NITRO car...why not on ELECTRIC?
I am not saying the new car/design is a SURE WIN for the future electric TC....but I give them credit be 1 of the few to think OUTSIDE THE BOX..(like LOSI JRX series..)
The revised layout is better......more use of space and more layout orientated (like the current TC layout)........when ppl are complainting new car is copying each other, here is a 1st 3 belt EP.........why not trying it?

My only concern.........hope it will be around $350-$400 street price. I like the layout more then the Type R.

Team Magic is TAIWAN base company........not sure it was designed by Taiwanese designer.......Talked to NICK a year ago when he debuted this prototype, he said it will be a production car for TM back then.

Sorry Solara, this is not the first 3 belt electric, the FSR Bullet had three belts and was a very good car when TC racing was simplier. Once this car is released we will know whether or not this design is good. Everybody has a competitive vehicle at the moment. Its always nice to see another challenger.

THe FSR bullet with a little bit of refining would still be a great car. About as balanced as any car on the market of today.

Heck, the first ISTC World Champ was a 3 belt car... the Losi Street Weapon.

The Street Weapon did not win the World Title, it won a race called the World Cup which is very different in how they run the Worlds. The format at the World Cup event in England most resembled the Reedy Race Format. There was no A main, B main etc.

Enough about that though this thread is about the Team Magic car.

So pleased to see this thread gathering pace as the realease date for the E4 draws nearer..........when ever that may be. No I don't know..lol.

What I do know is that there has been / is (!) three layout designs out for the E4 !

All of which have been used on prototype cars as Dennis has pointed out.

I would expect the layouts seen more receantly are going to be closer to the production design but this car, in it's final production configuration is being kept under a heavy cloak.............not sure where the dagger comes in .

Anyway. We're lining up a surprise pro driver to take this car from the spotlight on it's debut to podium finnishes in the near future!!

I think I would also look for our friend Dennis to be doing some real good with this car too.....................real soon!!

Very nice looking pics

Any feedback from the play at Windsor?
What is the overall weight like?
And how free does the drivetrain feel?

Whauu, nice pics taken at fabulous car, have you got more?
Please show us: with all new battery position, with drivetrain and steering system similar with a GP car, just to know the price and date to release, I hope will be cheaper than other brands!
