Mike B,

I have all the Asc Videos over the years and you may not be a World Champion yet, but you drove like one. Very good exciting racing.

Vicky will be club racing and running the race in cleveland this year.. Also I will be at the snowbirds. That race other then 1/12th scale has been a nightmare for me. Maybe this year i can turn things around...

Corrallyman...

Thanks for the kind words.. I try my best just wish i had some better luck sometimes. But then again you make your own :-)

You guys should see Blackstock race. Its freaky. He can take the stock TQ's car-never driven it and go 0.3 to 0.5 seconds faster with it in like 2-laps and shatter the TQ record!!! When he drives 12th stock-the cars never unsettled, never chatters, never hops, just flies!!

I am not one to gush over anybody-but Mike can freakin drive!!! So can Vicky for that matter.

mike hope to see you there you might rcognise me at 6'1" and 300lbs and a gotee sporting a flat top you might remember me iam one of the florida guys that hangs with paul wynn and dave vera . mike your an excellant driver and in my book any one that runs in the top ten at a world event is a champion. and fortunatlly luck does prevent someone from winning. hey dan marino is known as one of the greatest quarter backs and never won a superbowl , but everybody knows they could never hang like him. you can say your one of the best . alright enough jocking. anyways i cant make it to cleveland economics not good right now

speedxl. Well, I went to Japan with the Tamiya World Championships. I bought almost every Yokomo chassis parts but my problem is that the countersunk holes arn't well drilled so I have to buy some countersunk bits, pfffff... (Ps, I also bought a Associated kit in Hong Kong). I still have some parts missing like the Yokomo T-bar ball mount. I downloaded the Yokomo manual but it is in Japanese. Could you list the part numbers and if possible the part numbers for the black carbon parts (chassis 2002 model, chassis brace, motor pod upper and lower deck)

Thanks,

Muhannad

speedxl, Thanks for the help but I know the part numbers for the SSG parts but I would like to have black carbon parts like some racers in Japan are using. The 2001 kit had black parts but the battery slots are longer so the chassis is probably even more flexible than the 2002 SSG car and the upper motor pod plate is also shorter becouse the 2001 kit came with standard asso motor mount and plastic left bearing support.

barry why do you want more flex or you just like the look of the black carbon.
i race here out door on asphalt and indoor on carpet and i took out the flex with braces i ve also been in contact with the guys here at yokomo usa waiting for the realease of the thicker ssg chassis based on thier touring car , i think 2.5 mm thick instead of 2.1 the car has too much flex in plows under hard cornering causing the car to feel as if it were diffing.

speedxl, Thanks but you don't have to phone me. Besides I am from Belgium and that would cost you a lot. Email is fine.
I like black and I was mentioning the long battery slots becouse I don't want them.
I measured the Yokomo and it's 1.95mm and the Asso and it's 2.1 mm.
Riemon Speed Works makes a 2.1 mm and 2.4 mm chassis for both the Yokomo and the Associated.

Here is a pic of my racing shoes:
