If yours is a direct replacement I now knowwere to get my replacements. I hope you do offer them at a fair price.
The 2.25 chassis would be a great replacement for the stock one. IMO, the stock chassis is a noodle.
Also, I said the price would be competitive, not necessarily fair.

Funny, you should ask about the arms. It took awhile to come up with a repeatable set up. I just sent a set back to OD for approval/testing. He should have them in a day or so.

YOU ARE THE MAN!!!

Thanks, Doug for doing those for us. If they prove to test ok, which I am sure that they will, I will purchase several sets from you as well a lot of other racers. I also want three of the 2.5 Hara chassis when they are available.

Thumbs up

Doug,

There are other refinements to the replacement chassis. I'll leave it to DP to elaborate. Just finished grinding and sanding. Can't wait to test this on Sunday.

here are some pics of my ah12 iv got only two race nights on it and it seems to get faster every time i run it for 8mins.

last week the car was 2ths of second faster the any car at my track for stock we have 30 racers ruining 12th stock mostly carpet knives 90% of them

its nice to have a car that's easy to tune and fast but most importantly a little bit different.

in the photos you may see a lot of crc parts .
i used my 3.2r to build this car then sold everything that would not fit the ah12 lol.

let me know what you guys think of my car.

Weekend race testing was a total success. The 2.5mm SLEDGE chassis for the Hara Hammer makes the car very stable and predictable while maintaining the ability to change directions quickly that the AH12 is known for.

Our material order is on the way and we’ll be able to start producing chassis’ by the end of the week. We have enough chassis’ spoken for that as soon as the material arrives, we’ll need to order more! You guys are awesome!!

What is the difference of mounting the servo flat on the chassis vs. on an angle w/mounts?

Mounting the servo at an angle minimizes bump steer.

I bought a Hammer a year ago and 1/12 died just after I got it. I just recently started racing it and this class is a blast. My question is whether damper tubes are necessary or recommended and does it depend on the chassis that was converted.

The PRC SLEDGE Hammer replacement chassis went together perfectly.

Alien Too-Bump steer is the side effect of having the servo mount flat on the chassis. To minimize bump steer, you will need to add shims to the ballstud on the steering hub. Also steering input is more agressive with this setup. To me, with the stiff setup on smooth carpet the effect of the bump steer is very minimal.

CarlosG.-You were concern about tweak with the car. During the race on Sunday, I checked tweak before and after with a race ready car. With 3 qualifiers and the main. The eight times that I check for tweak, it was spot on all day.
