As far as I can see nothing special there, the tubes are hold by 2 ballstuds... (as always)

Hi guys, can I ask what surface you are running your Hammer 12s on? Do you run it on tarmac as well as carpet or just carpet like over here in the UK? Also, what tyre additive are you running? We are only allowed to use non smelly stuff. Do you coat the whole of the front tyre or just the inside half and for how long? I apply the additive to the rear tyres as soon as possible but found that the car had so much steering, I applied the additive to the fronts (inside half) at the beginning of the run before the one I was in and then taking it off almost instantly. If I put any more on the front or for a longer time, then you can't control the amount of steering the chassis produces. Also, if you are spacing the rear axle, the easiest way is to use a setup board. Put the chassis on the centre line with the wheels on the width line. Space the axle accordingly so that it is no more than 172mm wide (that's the UK linit). Beware of kit instructions though, the Reflex 12 instructions (if you follow them) space the axle much wider than 172mm, so now I check and sort it out myself. Cheers all, Chris.

hey chris we race up in scotland on carpet and msot of us use lrp additive and put it onto the front inside half and rear about 30mins before our race then wipe it off before we go down to the track and the car is fine, for the whole race on 19t, also what tires are you running front and rear because none of the hammers up here have had problems oversteering like the way you are saying

Hey John, 'normal' setup using purple fronts and grey rears. Tried using a parma zytek shell but ended up going back to a protoform bentley. I might send the chassis back to fibreflyte to get them to make another chassis but with the holes filled in. That may help as I beleive our American friends use more holes in the chassis to get more grip on outdoor tracks due to a more flexible chassis, so for us using our cars indoors, it may be usefull to have a stiffer chassis, by filling in some of the holes! By the way, I have never used anything other than a 8 or 9 double. Any help you can give mate, always appreciated! Cheers, chris.

Hi all, I have read with interest the various views about the Hara chassis but I have bought another (CEFX) and must admit, much better. I have 2 sets of radio so I will run both cars back to back but at the moment the C12 is the way I am moving towards. And just to let you know, in one of the Brit RC mags, in the 1/12th section there was a mention of a 'new' Hara chassis from Fybrelyte. Well, I got them them to modify a stock chassis just to make it a little stronger at the front (it goes straight across like a L4) and I am now going to get them to modify it again so that 3700's fit in properly. I'll let you all know when that happens! Cheers all, Chris.

Those are made by Yokomo (from the yrx-12we chassis), but only available in blue.
Those are purple anodized by a custom anodizer to match atsushi's style!
