Personally I prefer the Corally 12X ceramic thrust race to the Slapmaster one, you do need to get a smaal (2mm) spacre machined down to if it though.

I'v been using one for about a yr now, have'nt replaced the outside bearing in that time. The only downside to the Slapmaster; imo; is that it seems to have a fairly small window of adjustment. But once you have it set, you just forget about the diff, very smooth. Its possible to get the same feel without it but not for the length of time it provides.

I can now appreciate all the hype about the bmi front shim set. I just finished assembling the kit and thought i would mess with setting the ride height. definitly not as easy as i thought. Add shim, too much.Take away shim not enough. This is using the plastic shims that came with the kit.
I guess I need to get the shims sooner, rather than later.

Hey there guys. I am putting my car together and I was doing some reading in the instructions that the large boss on the clamping hub is supposed to be facing in toward the bearing but on page 70 of this thread jason says to have the small boss facing the bearing. I am confused because I think I have a new manual which came with the SE car it says to have the shallow center boss out toward the wheel meaning the large boss would be facing the bearing. Anyone know what way its supposed to be? any help would be great thanks.
