I must have missed--what was the problem with the IRS shock caps? I've got 3 brand new ones I bought from Jason that I haven't built yet.

The one I bought last year and built I never could get to feel "right"...always has felt like it has a sticky spot in it's travel.

It was only a few out of the last run of cars that dipped into the bad caps. I will get you all squared away with the cap

There was a few delrin caps that the threads were tight on. The shocks have been extremely smoothe. If you cave a sticky spot, there may be something strange going on with that particular shock. Check the 3 new ones and let me know if you have any problems.

I never got your e-mail. [email protected]

Did you check the fit of the white washer, foam cup, and cap to make sure the piston shaft moved easily in them? If one or more of them is a little tight it will feel like it is sticking. You might have to open them up lightly with an exacto knife.

Hey Dave,

You know, I don't recall that I did. I'll open 'er up tomorrow at our season-opening Test-n-Tune and see what's what. Good idea though.

Hey, since yer here...

I've got a IRS polished aluminum diff in one of my TC3's that I'd like to get a couple mates to if there are any sitting in a box somewhere in the palatial IRS World Headquarters. PM me? That bad-boy holds settings like no other.

Thanks,

Scottrik

Scottrik,
I don't remember releasing polished diffs for the TC3. We do have plenty of
TC3 diffs in stock, they are now black.

I finally get a chace to drive my DB12R.

WOW!!!! the corner speed is amazing. The setting extremely easy and I got good setting in just 2 packs from default setting. And as my car get tuned, other drivers came to check my car and ask what it's and where is T-bar. I explain them the unique design of DB12R, everyone says it's real smart design and start showing "envy" looks. HAHA!

Thanks lots BMI and Jason for such a GREAT car. I'm extremely happy with its performance.

I shouldn't hijack Jason's thread, but I can't post pics on pm. If these look familiar (or not) maybe hit me on pm?

I bought the car (it IS a BMI TC3, so sort of on-topic...) from Jason Colgan in SoCal. He thought it was an IRS diff, maybe he polished it, or...?

Jason Breiner thought it might be IRS too, but NONE of us are "THE MAN"...we'd certainly defer to your expertise!

It's a darn good diff though.

Thanks

Scottrik,
Those diffs are not IRS. You might check with Robinson, I think they did some.
