BMI's DB12R

I'm wondering if Apex meant more something along these lines...Most link cars have adjustable links so any inaccuracies in the manufacturing can be adjusted out in the links to keep the rear from binding. On CRC cars they have a solid link so the center pivot mount is slotted so to square up the rear pod you just loosen the 2 nuts on top of the center pivot mount, let the chassis sit flat, then tighten them down again. Is there anything like that on the DB12R or will it always come perfectly drilled? I assume the latter cuz the car just looks perfect

when you get a chance to take a look, you will see there is no bind point.it will roll until it bottoms out which far exceeds the necesary travel.it works very smoothely and is more progressive than the coil springs.this is why i never did like the coil springs.all rear suspension on pan cars work with pivots, spring tension and side dampening, this is the way i found for it to work effectively with no sacrifice.there are too many flaws in other methods i have seen.

will this cause alignment problems if you need to buy a new chassis or lower pod plate, since it's not bing cut at the same time? I don't think that it would since the equipment is very accurate, but I wonder

my guess is what jason is saying is that each piece is cut in one shot. so that the piece is not remove and then re-install in the machine. there is almost no way to clamp the part back into the machien in "exactly" in the same spot.

Its pretty sweet. Jason is really big on asthetics. Anyone can design a rear pod. The trick is making it function AND look like a piece of art. He spends a lot of time making small changes to angles and curves on the chassis and alloy parts to make the complete car flow together visually.
