Did you try cutting out the vents on the 8HD? That should add more front downforce. I liked running the 8HD as it felt more planted...of the 12's I find I like the 12B better...seems to balance front and rear downforce better then the standard 12.

i have yet to try the Speed12, but the 12B w/the rear wing is MONEY on the car right now. I liked the Speed8 for 17.5 but not the 8HD. Since running 13.5 though, 12B is the new hawtness

Yeah I ran it first with the vents cut out... I really wish I did a before and after to see the difference.

Yeah so do I...I knew I would need the extra front downforce though so started out with the inner vents cut out. I think I'm going to work on cutting out the other 2 vents as well but those look like a major pain.

Normal X-Acto's are too blunt to cut well. Try the X611 blades. Ultra sharp and oxidized and hard anodized.

Where exactly do you cut the vent holes for Parma 8HD?

And has anybody tried the HB Mark3 body yet? I just got it and must say it looks pretty ugly, it's just so robust comparing with parma 8 and pf 12 and the quality is the worst I've ever seen, it seems like the lines are cut with a fingernail, there are no masks, no decals.. or maybe all I've got is a cheap chinese replica of that body? (cause I really ordered it from Honkong)

Just to the left and right of the cockpit window there are 2 angled sections where the body drops lower, they face back...cut those out so the air under the nose can vent out on top of the body. Also it looks like the molded in vent ridges have a spot behind them that can be cut out as well.

We had 9 cars in 1/12th scale and limit it to 8 cars per heat due to the small track. GT we limit to 6 cars per heat and we had 4 heats all nearly full. TA had 2 heats and Mini had 1.

Thanks P2, I really was not going for the win. I just wanted to play follow the leader.

JayBee, thanks for posting your setup.I will give it a try as well. I just need to get the front springs you are using.

Are their any other setups for asphalt?
