You can also try RIT dye. I used to dye my T-plates back in the day with that.

It's used to dye clothing. You can get it at just about any store. Walmart, Target...etc....

thanks. yeah, the (-) motor wire is pretty tight on the top pod plate. It doesnt seem to prevent if from moving though, because its really flexible wire. And to prevent the battery bars from touching the cf, what should i do? it looks like itll be fine, but if i could change it, i will.

Make sure you sealed the CF real good. A better choice would be to move the bar like the diagram shows. The way you have it might also hit the body.
