Default NOVAK GTB & 3.5R VOLTAGE QUESTION

WE ARE HAVING A INSANE SPEED RUN AT OUR LOCAL TRACK. FASTEST LAP OF 10 LAPS.

THAT BEING SAID, I WAS CURIOUS TO KNOW HOW MUCH LIPO VOLTAGE MY SPREAD SPEKTRUM GTB AND 3.5R MOTOR COULD WITHSTAND BEFORE SOMETHING WOULD FAIL.

I HAVE SEEN SOOOO MANY COMBINATIONS OF BRUSHLESS AND HIGH VOLTAGE ON HERE AND I KNEW SOMEONE COULD GIVE ME A GO BY.

IT WOULD BE FOR A MAXIMUM OF 12 LAPS OR SO ( 2 WARM UP, 10 RACE ) AND THE CURRENT FASTEST LAP IS 3.8 SO I AM NOT AS CONCERNED ABOUT HEAT BUILD UP AS I AM OVERLOADING AND MELTING MY GTB OR MY 3.5.

ANY AND ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED.

MARCEL

Fujimo,

The GTB is rated only for 6 cell NiMH or 2 cell Li-Po.

Whats the size of the track? What type of car are you using 2wd or 4wd, belt or shaft? How many and how wide are the turns? Rubber or foam? Length of the straights??Many things to address
