Were looking at the SP ESC line right now, doing our initial testing and we'll keep you guys posted on carrying the exige but I don't have a time line to quote as of right now. I can say the Exige is a really low profile ESC, the wire exits out of either end which "bulks" it right back up length wise a bit, we obviously are testing it in an MI-3 and its using very little room on the car. and it just looks cool. I'll keep you guys posted as to what the plans are on it.

The SP Grand Turismo esc will be released in the next few weeks.
From what i have seen its case is a slightly smaller footprint and thinner than a LRP Sphere Competition.
Will have a small heatsink about 3/4mm high.

Looks very nice !!!

Exige esc is very small and similar in size to some esc's for the aircraft guys and looks a bit out of place on a chassis.
Runs very well and i havent had any issues with running a 9.5 on it.

Hi razzor, so what's the difference between the SP Grand Turismo and the Exige esc? Which one has got the better specs? Thanks

SP will have 2 esc models available if im not mistaken.
The Exige is for stock racing and recreational use and is limited to a lowest motor of 12.5 while the GT is limitless as well as one of a few esc's that can run the 2.5R on 6 cells comfortably.
There is also a esc combo which is equivalent to stock 540 and sport tuned motors.

Thanks for the fast reply, i'll be waiting for it's release. Hopefully the price range will be comparable or even lower than all the other "big name" brands out there...

Interesting results. I'd like to know how you ended up with that gearing. Here in Socal we usually gear the Novak 10.5 around 5.0-5.5, so I'm interested to see why there is such a big difference. Does the SP motors have a lot less torque? I'm puzzled.

Suggested ratio out of the package was between 6.2 to 8.8. We started to test between 6.0 to 7.0. Yes, this SP motor seems to have more rpm than torque. Another friend of mine is using 6.04 instead. He was insanely fast on the track.

Our track length is almost 200m.
