one has round wire the other has flat... flat wire tend to spool up faster..

I have an Orion. The winding on a mod flat wire arm are wound so nice and tight compared to a round wire hand wound arm.Maybe this is why they say it spools up faster.

normally the flat wound arms are hand wound not machine wound like stock motors and are usually used for carpet but can still be used on asphalt
