gentlemen (and ladies, if there is any )

here is my Blue armada..... due the time, I didn't have time to put the electronics on the 05MS yet (they're just on where they should be, also because I probably will need to extend the positive lead on the ESC... I was using deans and now I'm on corallys...

so, here they are:

general view, from left to right, TRF415MSXX, TA05MS, TA05 Xenon:

TRF415MSXX left view:

TA05MS left view (antenna original position is a no-no, probably will put on the left servo holder):

TA05 Xenon Left view:

TRF415MSXX right view:

TA05MS right view:

TA05 Xenon Right view:

hope you like them!!!

another thing: check this out:

battery is placed at almost the same position than the TRF415MSXX whereas on the original TA05 is a little further behind....

cheers,
al

Thanks for posting the pics rampal!
Two questions:
1. How much further is the battery away from the center on the ta05ms vs 415?
2. Did you do a drive comparison between the two yet?
Thanks

the battery on the TA05MS is both back and a little more off-center. If you see the pictures, I would say the battery on the TRF415MSXX is at the same level than the servo, on the TA05 it is a little behind it, perhaps at the same level than the servo holders... regarding center placement, I need to measure it on the chassis... tomorrow I can measure exactly the off- center on the three models and as well back and forth position in comarison with front suspension. will let you know.

cheers and good night,
al

hey al... since you have both of the kits that I am asking about here in this thread, why won't you share with us how they perform in the track (if ever you have tried them already, if not, can you kindly enough try them.?) acceleration, handling, balance, etc etc...

thanks in advance!

thanks for posting the pics too btw...

A Corolla can run with a WRX. Personally, I've seen my friend in a two decade old Corolla (AE86) completely dust WRXs when they first came to the states. Is it that ludicrous? Of course, the track configuration brought out the strengths of the AE86, but a battle can never be taken out of context...

Great pics and great collection!

So, did you measure the battery position in regards to how much off center they are on the TAO5 MS and TRF415 MSXX?
Do you think the TA05 MS is better ballanced left/right with 5cell configuration?

that's actually what I'm betting on .... better 5 cell balance with brushless... once the electronic is fully in place, will let you know...

cheers,
al

P.D.: I use the transponder in the middle of the front bumper and just have one, that's why it is not in the pictures....
