before race night , running a MR4tc 2.2 final gearing and looking for a starting point.

what motor will you be running? what is the track like? long & fast? Tight and Technical?

i run a Trinity CO27 and gear it in the region of about 6.4

He's right! Depending on the track, whether being technical or long and fast - the gearing will vary. Would also, start off around 6.2 ~ 6.5

Hey guys, I run at a track that is 100X40 roughly. It uses the whole 100 ft for the back straight, and the infield is very tight. Im running an Monster Stock on my T2 007. 114/29 is my gearings with a finial of 6.95 with 57mm foams. After freezing the motor it still comes off at 180 which is too hot. Am I still undergeared?

I was running a 118/31 and it didnt get too hot, which is a rollout of 6.73 I belive. I switched becuase I didnt have anything off the corner.

What rollout should I be running on this big track.

It's difficult to judge, but what is the final internal gearing ratio on the T2?

For TRD raceway Monster 27.5 MM roll out is good starting point 114X31.. For a CO27 which is the choice for 90% racers for carpert best motor for that cause go up 1 more tooth..

Red springs and F brushes... That will get you in 30 lap park..

Tyler for there run rear roll centers up high.. Diff in middle purple rear springs and magents fronts.. try double pink rears ,double pink orange fronts 30wt X ray oil 2 hole pistions.. 1 deg rear toe..1 deg rear camber 1 1/2 deg front camber.. 4 1/2 mm RH.. 1 mm front droop 2 mm rear droop.. That is a start

Thanks Everyone , I will be racing mainly on a technical track and have various motors,P2k2, CO27, Hellfire,Epic Quad,Orion Core . Probably will use the Hellfire as most guys are using one but it will come down to the stopwatch I guess.
