Why aren't the rear wheels cut out like the rest of the bodies you normally see?

Just for everybody's info...all of our wide GTP bodies are still available and we even have a wide TOJ mold that can be formed.

Thanks

The "Raven" body is 200mm which would be fine for a narrow pan car set up for road course but not wide enough for the old wide cars. Our Nissan, Toyota and Jaguar GTP bodies were made for the wide cars.

The Castrol Jaguar GTP cars ran with closed rear fenders in full scale back in their day. The Toyota and Nissan ran open rear fenders.

Thanks for the info - I am still waiting for them to arrive but I purchased to older Bolink pan cars off ebay and looking for decent body. I like the look of the raven but figured a bad choice for these because not wide enough.

I did not see a TOJ on your site - did I miss it or is not there?

That body is the same as the Serpent GTP and beside the cockpit nearly the same as a Lola.

I like the look of the closed cockpit. Serpent makes a closed cockpit as well dont they? Do they have them in stock somewhere?

gary, can we get some shots of the TOj? folks were asking about them in another thread and pancars seem to be making a push again.. bodies are the most common question i'm asked about (well, maybe available cars are.. but) so the more info and pictures we get the better.. thanks...

Gary,
Thanx for supporting the class!
Is there any chance to interest you to make a new body for us european wide pan car racers?
That Peugeot that ran the Le-mans 24 hours this year was stunning! -hint-hint-!

i ran that on my rc10l3T.. it had good downforce, but i think it may be no longer available... note: i ran the lola version.. same car differen cockpit.. still got it in my basement..

also, Too fast is no excuse, we can easily detune with motors.. 19t/10.5bl is as fast as i think i'd want to go anyhow... which is REAAAAALLLLY fast...

Back then the only company that made a TOJ was Bolink.Gary's bodies work great. Used them for many years.

That's how the full scale car looked back in the late 80's and early '90's. It had a body panel covering the rear wheels... it could be removed during pit stops.

Here's an example...different livery tho

By the way when JAGUAR won the 24 hours of Daytona we had the show car at OUR state race(Jacksonville, Florida) for the whole weekend.A friend knew the Castol people.
This body fits good on the Corally C10-and looks good.

I can tell you that Gary's Nissan was an excellent handler. Always worked very well on my old MX-Pro 10th scaler.
