Very cool -
I have been looking at some of the bodies on the stormer website. Once I get more funds I will get something good for speed. For now when the car arrives I am going to mount my Bolink elcomino body on the car.

TOJ is the orginal open cockpit body for the 1/10th pan cars. It was orginally a 1/12th body and it was THE body to have in both classes.
It reguires a rear wing.I was an CanAm car back in the 60's I believe.
The California Flyer was the Bolink chassis after the E10. The E10 car was a handful on road course as it pushed as orginally built. The Flyer almost won the national title at the ranch pit stop at probably there last national held there. It was one minute away when it was tagged and the wing mount hung up the rear end.

If I remember right, the TOJ was loosley based on the Porsche 917. That's why it had that "air box" molded into the nose.

AE still make the 1/12 TOJ saw one for 12 bucks at Ultimate.
that is a great body, I used it exclusively for 1/10 pan. I'm not sure if the 1/10th is still available.

This is a link to an Austrian website showing a lot of old cars.
Here you can see a 1/12 Toj. http://www.rccarmuseum.org/museum/files/c-car.html

I think Bolink was the only one making the Toj bodies and it still looks very good. But I think todays bodies will be faster.

The Toj was not based on the Porsche 917, the 917 looks different.
In reality there was a BMW Toj just canīt find pictures anymore.

Hi,

Quote:
Here is my experience. My 1/10 pancar when come to unprepare track, front and rear end look bouncing in the corner but this thing gone when add damping system.

No doubt that some additional system give some extra weight. But the approach should be different with TC to minimise the extra weight. Such as no sock tower, small damping system, laydown shock absorber, small gear box, weight distribution F35/R65 , front brake system (late braking into corner), drop adjustment, body roll setting, rear toe in (for earlier throttle)....at this moment, I have no problem with the speed but not be able to do late entry....so TC 3.5T brushless with spool...take that advantage

Some said, you can not go faster until you learn how to brake....

Just my thought

Thats the same complete idea I have about pan cars should be.

independent suspension
all wheel brake
rear traction
ELECTRIC POWERED
235 mm

AGAIN...... just a thought.

If you wanted that, why not just run that HPI super RS4 with a touring body

Edit: I read it again you said all wheel brake, ill leave my response anyways, but how would you get all wheel brake with no power to the front wheels without added a ton of wt
