Default Sanwa/Airtronics DSSS

has any one had a chance to use this?
its about $50 cheaper than spektrum and its 4 channel (all 1/5th scale guys will like this). just wanting to know if there is a noticeable difference between this and spektrum pro?
looking to go digital and wanna get the best for my m11.
cheers.
oh here is about the only mention i have found of it.

I think it is due out in the US later this month. I have been looking and no one has them in stock. I had one place tell me they were to have them on the 20th.

I have the spektrum pro... but I will indeed give this one a try... will ask champ if they have it... it seems to have a very competitive price. good.

Got the Sanwa DSS system yesterday. Receiver case is the same as RX-431, so it is small enough. Lot smaller than Spektrum std receivers. It's also very light. Don't have any figures, sorry.

Default .

The new Airtroincs system works great. As already mentioned, they did a stellar job including more channels into a noticably smaller reciever. This rx should fit in even the tightest kits. While I did not mount mine into my Robitronics Scalpel, it looks as if it would fit without a problem.

While they might not have been the first to market here, it seems like they sorted everything out.

Watch out Spektrum...you have serious competion now. The nice thing about Spektrum/Horizon is that they have made modules for all major radios- they cater to all. Futaba FAST module and Airtronics DSS is only intened for their radio systems. Still, this should help bring prices down over all. I just hope Futaba and Airtronics cater to other radio systems as well, and then we can all benefit...
