I was talking about the quantum. You should not have to put more in the ESC then you do in the car itself.

I was told that the Quantums let the smoke out.
You would think for that much money they would be decent.
Anyone know why they blow?

Anybody know how long it usually takes Novak to repair an ESC? My CycloneTC died tonight... My first instinct was to have a funeral, with the toilet as it's grave, but then somebody told me it'd be cheaper to just get it fixed. lol... I'll take his advice.

Jeff- I think they charge $40 bucks plus tax and just replace it with a refurbished one!!! But to be sure call them up and talk to Charlie, or go to the Royal Rumble thread and ask him there!!

Cool 37$$$

Jeff, they charge 37 dollars, you send in the busted one, and they send you back a brand new one. Simple as that, and great service.

I got my Quantum when the were first available, a couple of months ago. Still works great and barely gets warm. However, I dont think its any better then my Cyclone other then the size and color.

Even Novaks blow up.

When is the Worlds upgrade comming out for the Quantum?

Default reverse polarity

I have a Novak TC2, if I connected it reversed without turning on the switch would I have caused any damage, if so what would have happened?

JeffC, I roasted my cyclone tc the other day as well. Sent it back to Novak, and now I too am waiting for them to send me my new one. It has only been a week, so I am hoping to get it sometime next week. I hate missing race weekends.

Had any one of u tried Keyence Zero V Extreme Hyper Tech Esc? U should try that. It's very punchy. My friend own it. Presently I'm using Keyence Professional Type. It's good too. Better than LRP V7.1.
