Man I hate to hear things like this. I've been in RC for a long time (I started right after they invented dirt), and I'm not sure I like the way the industry is going. It used to be about PEOPLE -- people like Rick, like the Losi's, Mike Reedy, etc. Now it's all big business and the people who built the hobby get tossed out.

Best of luck to you Rick. The way this smells, I think Peak/Orion will NOT be getting any of my business in the future...

WOW! Rick founded Peak Performance long before Peak had anything to do with Orion. I had hoped this would not happen

Hallo Rick,

its hard to read your words. For a businessman like you it must be strong to decide leaving the company you established more than 20 years ago.

I think, I know some facts, why you mad this decision and you can be sure, that we understand this.

We all hope to see you on some next races and we wish you all the best for your future.

See you my friend,

I've known Rick since the beginning of Peak Performance.I won and still have the replica of the motor he won his first 1/12th(DELTA) Nationals in Orlando 1986( on the carpet).I've been sponsored by him and over they years if I had any questions about his products I could give him a call. I don't like what happened .Good luck Rick and I'll give you a call at the new place-where ever that might be.

You have always been a class act.

It is people like you who have helped the hobby progress through thick and thin. I still have some great memories of me racing against you during the "gold tub Shumacher cat tire RC10 days"!

Sometimes change is good Good things happen to good people. You will land on your feet and be just fine.

Take care,
