Default OT: auckland

yo guys...
i had just migrated to New zealand, Auckland. and i have no idea if there is any RC track around.. i suppose there is but how do i find and where are they?
hopefully some kiwis over here would help me out.

From what ihave heard there is some very good racing in new zealand, that is also the home of frewer racing so bodies and tires are also easy to get and cheap.

There are some kiwis that frequent the Australian threads, put a post in there, im sure you will get a response from there.

I'm not from Auckland but do know that there are several clubs in Auckland. If you race onroad electric try the North Harbour R/C car club.

I suggest you visit Hobbydirect (they are in the City) as they organise indoor races I think. Can check out their website www.hobbydirect.co.nz for their number and address.

Hey,
theres the third round of the Hobby Direct Saloon Series this sunday, so if its not raining, and uve got a touring car or mini, come to albany. They also run an indoor track every second Saturday night. Phone Hobby Direct for more details on both of the above.

i dun have a car wif me rite now..
i have a impulse and a corally... but from what i know is that the parts are really hard to get over here.
so i am wondering if i should bring over my cars from singapore or should i get a new one which the parts are supported over here. if so then which made would u advise me to get?

*i just started electric not long ago, so i am sort of a newbie to electric, but i had been playing gas for 3yrs*
