Well, since all they are doing is allowing 5 cell not forcing you to run 5 cell whats the problem. Run 6 cells.
That said...if you run Mod Buggy you can run 5 cell and on most tracks for most drivers its faster than 6 cell.

it is my understanding that no one is suggesting adding more classes i.e. 5 cell stock, 6 cell stock, 5 cell 19t, 6 cell 19t, the discussion was, should 5 cells be allowed in stock with the weight reduction to race against 6 cell. or did i miss something?

You would be correct... I was stating my opinion on why i think roar would go to 5 cell and allow brushless for all classes before they would allow lipo.

One IB4200 cell has 4200mah of power. A six cell has 4200 mah of power. The ammount of capacity is not reduced. Run time will acctually be increased.
