I have a Tamyia TB Evolution III and I picked up a Novak GTB/Velociti 3.5R combo a few months ago and I have been trying to figure out how to set up the gears for this car. I have about a 5 minute run time with the 3300 matched packs (I know they are old....sue me) and I know this can go a heck of a lot faster longer.

I just want to know what pinion/spur setups have some of you found to work well?

With six cell about 11.3 final gear ratio for medium size track with rubber tire is a good start.

I don't run that fast of a motor but I've heard that a final drive between 8:1-10:1 is a good start for that BL motor. If you overgear or undergear the motor may get hot.
