IMO, I have never been to the 'Birds because I could never afford to travel accross country, so I don't know anything about the event other than what I hear and read. I can tell you what I've learned about this race thus far...

there are some people that can't be happy to have raced at the largest indoor race production ever... and can't be thankful for all of the time and effort put into the production... all of the work they didn't have to do.

bitchin' aside... I thank you Mike and staff for doing it again this year and for putting on a great race. Many people that I race with have gone numerous times and never had one bad thing to say... other than they stayed up to watch races and didn't get any sleep.

Keep up the good work guys...

Mike

With the venue change will there be more room for a larger track layout?

BTW the place looks nice, can't wait to "shit it up"!

Thanks

Thank you everyone! WOW just got home and on-line! Great to see the discussions.....

So far most all the questions will be answered with very satisfactory answers! Everything will be spelled out in the next couple weeks. I am very happy and excited to say the least. Talked a little about it tonight on racetalklive.com. If you missed it they will archive the show.

The best thing at this point is being able to advertise the event in June rather than October the past few years. Racers have time to plan and so do we!

I will spill the beans and give a tease - rates are a little less and there is ton to do, eat, and see within walkin' distance. It's I-DRIVE without the conjestion and a little more modern. Plus you can see the TREE of LIFE, fireworks, Space Mountain, and more! Some general trackside pittting this year and also in your room without the big walk. TV Network too!

Julie and I were at Talladega back in April and saw Carl Edwards in the infield and the 1st thing he said when he saw us was 'how was the Snowbird's this year sorry I missed it'. That is awesome! The racing world knows about our race!! Check out the link on our Snowbird page with the hits we got from the live webcam this year... over 4000.... awesome!!!!!!!! We are excited about 2008 and hope you are too!

Mike Boylan, God Love YA!!!! I was there two years ago, my third child was born the Monday before practice, (about one week early, and eight hours after I arrived in Orlando). Couldn't go last year, (baby's first B-day), and this year you've moved it up enough date-wise that I have NO schedule conflict. Orlando here I come!!!!

Can't wait for my second trip to the Birds. The new hotel looks awesome, great work Mike Best thing about Birds is that the in-laws live in Tampa, so the old lady can never say no

Just as long as there's a worldwide simulcast on the official website.
