Sounds like you've got a lot of extra promotions going on, I like it!

Do you think you'll have the map of the Track/Pit/MNF Row available before monday, or is it first come first serve??? LOL.

Novak is sending out TWO Novak Guys this year, Myself and the Always Delightful Skuba Steve Weiss. Skuba's also racing On Road.

I'll have ALL my motor testing equipment, Starting Monday night I'll be happily checking anyone's motors, and giving 100,000 mile tune ups.

Can't wait, always love the "Birds".

See you in a few days!

Thanks Charlie - everyone is looking forward to having you. We have the pits all setup already (should have on-line soon).

Was there ever a decision on the hand-out motor?

Spec 'Brushed' Motor Rules:
Spec motors for stock / 19 turn classes
- you have to purchase from us for race
- they are not part of your entry fee
- racers limited on amount of extra motors
- 27T Stock are Cobalt 27s
- 19T Road are Komodo Dragon Hemi's
- 19T Oval are Ultrabirds
Handout motors will be strictly teched. TQ cars for each class are torn down each round, and random cars too. Stock motors and Komodo 19s will be checked for 24 degrees timing. Must be handed out components. Arms will be checked if they are twisted. We have a gauge. End bells can not be altered to increase timing. No re-drilling of arms.
Ultrabirds will not have a timing rule. Stand-up brushes only (no P-94s). No creating 'L' style brushes or filing brush to get more 'wrap'. Basically run brushes the motor was designed for. Magnets can not be changed.

Does that mean you can't us a brush alignment tool? Not to alter the timing but to make sure you have even brush contact. That's just part of motor tuning.

nobody is preventing you from fixing production issues. It's saying stop being a goober about cheating and improve your setup or driving.

Working on an updated entry, should be up in an hour.

That timing rule is one we have had for a few years. Basically it's to prevent some from moving the hoods to gain some more brush angle/timing. It's all common sense though and hood aligning is fine. No worries!!

CYA!

Great news: PARMA will be sponsoring the Concourse event once again and we have some great prizes. This is to be held Sunday.

Might have racer confirmation letter on-line today with some news and notes on the race.

Got a garage full of goodies - carpet, track, trophies, raffle, boxes, boxes, boxes!

Make sure you guys bring plenty of CRC Gen X shock parts. I'm a little hard on the center shock.

John - YES!! The RACER CHECKPOINT will be right by the entrance to the drivers stand, so racers can come early and get that last peak before racing. Thanks to CHECKPOINT for helping out and being a part of the race. This always works great for everyone.........
