I am very happy to announce that IB has signed as a Major Sponsor of the Snowbird Nationals! Their support means a lot, and their interest in RC and the Snowbirds is very, very appreciated!

Hope to have an entry update tommorrow. Looks like almost 300 paid.... and only about 10 percent of sponsors and teams are in. Might really get full quick after the holidays.

Got a nice ad in Xtreme this month. Added a bunch more sponsors since that came out. Can't thank all the companies enough for being a part of the event. Without you, the 'birds would not be happening.

Entry list should be up before Christmas. We are close to full at all. Don't worry... As I mentioned before, we have not sold out until mid-January almost each year. Holidays are tough, I know. But almost no sponsors drivers are in, and we are ahead of last year, so the race is looking great! We will limit the total to keep the times easy.

Don't forget to bookmark our site. I update it frequently with news. Been getting a lot of hits on it... so I know racers are getting pumped up.

I ran the F1 on Saturday at The Track in Maryland. Carpet track ( 45x90 ) 8-10 foot lanes, 14 turn layout. I used the 3racing F201 carbon fiber chassis wth the Ferrari body and front wing with Ride medium tires and a soft insert.
The trans ratio is 2.6, 63 mm tires, and a 31.23 rollout...

I used a stock ( Trinity ) motor, 64 pitch 32 pinion and a 78 spur, 3800 Promatcher stick packs, Novak GTX ESC, Spectrum receiver, and Jack the Gripper sauce. I was concerned about the motor overheating but it didn't....

It drove better than I thought it would be. The car hugged the track and with the long wheelbase it rotated through the tight corners and it had good speed down the straight....

The next time out I'm going to try a 19 turn motor with Tamiya A ( medium inserts ) and the Tamiya B ( with hard inserts ).
