13.5 is growing in support in oval along with 10.5 of course.

Would we be crazy to have a sportsman mod class with any 19 turn or 10.5 motor?

Also trying to get something going locally for a simple RTR type car that a racer can buy and race without a lot of choices... fun and simple! Then of course offer it at the 'birds! Like a Tamiya Cooper or a car on that platform that is established, accepted, proven, and easy! Our goal is to get some guys back racing again that might have stopped, and give an option for a fun class and/or second class that is easy (1 set of tires, etc etc). Just putting that out there. Would love to get Tamiya involved.

That really didn't anwser the question wether its going to be a possible class for touring. Theirs alot of guys from TN and GA that would definatly race in a 13.5 class.

I would love to see a F1 class at the Birds. It would bring a good crowd with some very good racing. And it would differently get the companys to think about start making more of them to sell.

Default F-1 at the 'Birds!

Great Idea! The cars look great on the track and we are seeing a larger group running them in various areas in the States and Canada. I even think I can find some sponsorship for this class! Mike, this is an idea that has legs! (As they say in the Ad biz).

I believe there are 2 1/10 scale cars out there 2WD and 4WD.
2WD: Tamiya old F103, the new F103GT, Thunder Tiger ( not sure ) and MLPs stable of F1s. I think theer was a Cross F1 car also...
4WD:Tamiya F201 and that kit also had some really great after market parts from 3Racing, Tobee and GPM...

I would like to see a F1 class but don't thing there would be enough people to run in it. Maybe an exhibition type race during the mains.....
As far as builders things are no so bad. Hyperdrive, RC Indycars, and soon we hope the new Alpha F1 car which I don't know the name of it yet. Corally may be updating theirs but are still selling the current ride. MLP will be back as the owners health is getting better and he can't wait to get back to seeing his cars making some laps again. Aside from that there are tons and tons of older cars out there needing to be used of all makes. All are very competitive since we have many of them in our series and they still rock against the newer cars.

TC 13.5BL Rubber Lipo-allowed (taking the next step)
TC Stock Foam ('cause this is the USA)
TC 19T Foam (the stepping stone)
TC Mod Foam (for all our homegrown talent)
TC Mod Rubber Lipo-allowed (for the international flavor)
1/12 19T (stock is sooooo slow, not fun to watch)
1/12 Mod
Ideas for exhibition classes (invite only, one 10 car heat of each)
-F1 (any chassis, handout motor, just get it in the public eye)
-Sprint cars
-1/10 direct drive onroad using F1, LMP, P1/2, IMSA, etc. bodies
