Jaco Nitro Shoes on ETC

Have any of you guys run 35 shore nitro shoes on an Electric TC? I figure if there too hard I'll bagged them with traction compound the night before I race. Plus there cheaper then foams ment for Ele TC. :D

you running asphalt or carpet? either way i have good luck with nitro shoes, 40's up front and 35's in the rear. dont worry bout them being too hard...they have great traction both indoors and out. if anything they are on the softer side

O awsome. :D :D I'd be using them on asphalt. 40 front's 35 rear's it is, thanks.

just watch the rear tires for wear...after a day of running mine on asphalt the rears were a bit smaller than the fronts. might try 40 front and rear...or 35 35...just have to try different combos till you find one that wears good and has enough traction.

O ok cool I'll go to 40 all round. How many race days would a set last?

Cheers. :D

No idea on that one...depends on how you drive, the surface you drive on and your cars setup. i couldnt tell ya, but i do know you can run em right down to the rims! i love foams!

How long do yours last? :sneaky:

wheelmanST 04-20-2003 05:31 PM

so far i have at least 12 + runs on a set of 40's front and 35's in the rear...i also cut them down a bit since they are HUGE out of the box :D i would think you could get 4 + days of hard racing...as in 3 quals and a main...before they are trash. mine still have some good foam left on em so im thinkin mine will last for 20+ runs at least. have fun!

Alright, that sounds good.

Thanks for the help. :D
