Our 2 local tracks allow the Novak 13.5 in stock and 10.5 in 19t. Plus we also allow the Orion 3200 and 4800 packs in the touring classes as long as they meet 1525g weight rule. It's just club racing. So it doesn't really matter. And it seems to have made alot of the newer and less experienced racers (and even veterans) happy. Less to worry about and more time to spend with car setups and ragging on each other. Plus you don't hear the "cheater" stock motor comments any more too (except in Mini class where we go by TCS rules). No more excuses! But some of the sponsored racers still race with BR motors and 6cells and still wins. I switch back and forth from time to time. Whatever keeps the racers happy and coming back for a good time.
