Help with choosing Speed Controller!

Hi im just starting and would like to know which speed controller u reccomend.

Does it matter if it doesnt have an on/off switch?

Im only racing 27 stock but would like to go upto 19 stock after.

I would like to spend around 50. Not sure what that is in dollers

Thanks

Default speed control!!!

hi i know a very good speed control for pretty cheap : the novak explorer 2 or the novak fusion. they are both around $55-70 bucks in american dollars! you can look at them if you go onto towerhobbies.com and search for novak speed control's! good luck on your findings!

That's about $78US. I'd say if you don't want reverse then get the LRP supersport esc. It's got a 12 turn limit which is the mod racing limit that is in effect in most of the europe. 4 to 8 cells and it has an on/off switch(which is helpful and nice to have). It sells for about $75US. Check out the websites below.

My advice would be to avoid the Mtroniks range, apart from that there's quite a few decent models out there that can handle a 19-turn, LRP's, Nosram, Futaba 330, GM, some Novak's.

Well they're the exact same speed controller on the inside, so go for whichever is cheaper, or whichever colour scheme you prefer!
