Default battery blowing up

hehe...how long do u charge till the batt blows up? my friend blew up a batt i lent him....lol...pretty funny....anyone blow up their batts before?

I've never seen a pack blow up, I've seen several packs vent. Some rather violently. But not blow up.

i messed up my first pack....the plastic came off....my other friend's was sizzling so much....it was smokin! lol...i can't believe my friend blew up my pack....and i was lending it to him....makes me extend the no one uses my 3300 rule!

Default battery blowing up

Probably got so hot that it melted the wrap on the cells and they shorted. Seen it happen before.

I think he's running stick packs. Just another reason to run side by sides or saddle(more airflow).

nah...i don't really wanna convert my batts...my friend blew it up cuz he left it charging....i watch my batts...very closely

Hmmm, not to offend you, but maybe you shold get a new charger? They do cost some money, but as somebody else said, buy cheap, and you cry a lot. Buy expensive, and you only cry once.

You use an equalizing tray, it basically makes sure that every single cell is completely discharged so that there in exactely the same state. It stops the deterioration of the cells and memory build up. Here's another page from bryan's site that has a breif description.
