Default Novak SS speedy

Is the SS speedy ok to use with 4200s?
motors that will be used 13.5 or 5800
Does it need a cooling fan?
Heat sink on motor?
I had the SS+ and it lasted roughly 20 minutes!

I've been running the 13.5 on both 3800's and 4200's for a year. That's on the prototype motor .Next I'll be going lipo in two months. The novak esc comes with a fan and I don't have a fan for the motor.

I assume by "SS" you are referring to the Spread Spectrum ESC and not the Super Sport

You are ok to use 4200s with either ESC.

Either ESC will run the 13.5, 10.5 (4300), and 8.5 (5800) motors.

The Spread Spectrum GTB comes with a fan pre-installed onto it.

The Super Sport ESC does not come with a fan but can be run with one.

The motors do not come with heatsinks but they can be run with normal clip on style heatsinks or for the ultimate heat conduction you can get one of our sleeve-sink heat sinks.
