Post Speedo selection help

Hello guys, im planning to get a new speedo after i turn over my pending deals i was just curious what speedo to get im looking at the following:

LRP Quantum
GM SX9
KO VFS 2000

Anyone have any experience with the speedo above, help us out plz im really leaning on the GM SX9 and the KO VFS because i heard plenty of bad experiences with the LRP quantum although i should say the best speedo i tried was the LRP 7.1

think about soldering onto the board on the sx9 Vs the tabs on the KO

Hey dave, whats up man ?? So there not fragile are they ?? Because i heard some ppl cook them very quickly thats why im quite hesitant in buying it

What about the VFS adjustments, what sort of things can you adjust ??

Warlord385: Im using a TC2 in my EJ rigth now i must admitt its really good, although when i tried the GT7 i wasnt all that happy with it i thing the TC2 is way better. Keyence i suppose is alrigth but for its price i would rather get a KO VFS with the adaptor

Tom: Isnt there soldering tabs on the SX9 i thought there was

I'm running a keyence A07rz it's very smooth and extremely reliable. I havn'nt had any problems with it at all. Although keyence esc's are a little pricey, there worth every penny.

From my experience, LRP V7.1 is a piece of sh!t, but the quantum competition is totally different story. I'm using quantum competition on my 414mII and I love it. I'm going to buy Futata MC800C for my Surikarn Evo 3. GM SX9 is also a good ESC and it has turbo function, but very expensive. I heard about GM dealer in US. They have every bad customer service. Don't know about KO. If I were you, I buy Futaba MC800C because it uses 12 AWG wires. Quantum only use 13 AWG. If you want better look, go for Quantum.

If you want a warranty, go for the quantum.

Default confusion kickin in

AKU-MAN: Hmmm did you install the worlds update kit on your quantum ?? I Love LRP but i just heard that the quantums fry very easily. About the wires can't you just resolder the bigger wires on ?? And what does the turbo function in the SX9 do ??

fat doggy: I heard good things about the keyence but hell the price is high especially the extreme zero, gees i forgot about LRP and Nosrams lifetime warranty now im really getting confused

O yes the good old Aussie dollar lol . Heres' some online shops in hong kong that carry most of the top esc's.

http://www.hobbymania.com.hk/eng/sho...?id=20&cat=ESC

http://controlcentre.rctech.net/hp/o...20shop%20a.htm

The shops above might have keyence esc's but there not listed(both shops have there own forum on Rctech if you want to ask). I only know two online shops that carry keyence, there both in America. www.speedtechrc.com and www.rickysrccar.com . Speedtech's price is $186US for the zeroVextreme. But you'd pay quite a bit for shipping from the US.
