Default Mamba Max 5700 or 7700?????? which one?

Hello, just wanted to know/ or ask who has one of these systems in the touring cars? using it for bashing/parking lot speed runs' purposes.

1. controllability with the 7700 with 7cell or 2cell Lipo/3cell Lipo

2. they mention that the 5700 is higher rpms with 3cell Lipo compared to
the 7700 with 2cell Lipo.

3. my questions is, should I just acquire the 7700 and tone it down a bit with the included castleLink program, rather than buy the 5700 which is limited?

please let me know your experiences.....

thanks.....

For me at least a 7700 is a bit much for most things, unless you race mod a 5700 should be fast enough and not cause your batteries to smoke - A friend of mine ran a 7700 in a tamiya mini with some 3300mah stick packs and had smoke from over heated battery bars.

For drift the 7700 is too fast.

I've owned both and the 5700 wasn't enough for me, so I upgraded to the 7700, but keep in mind that it does tax your batteries. Maybe you should consider the 6900. Considering how the 1/18th Mambas run, I think the 6900 would be a good compromise.
