What do you guys recommend for a balancer? I'm running an Ice so I'd prefer to run through that if it runs inline with charger.

Thanks.

Performance was never my concern, they work great. I'm reserving judgement until they've gone through 50+ cycles. So far, I'm using a single pack for all my practice and racing twice a week, and it's been flawless.

sorry kevin, don't know what works with the ice, you can plug into my balancer its works as a stand alone as well as a charge thru. probably once a month will do.

hi all,
what balancers are you using? i'm in hong kong atm and because the balancing plug looks so different to most lipo's here, they cant recommend a balancer with the right plug/polarity configuration
the hyperion balancer/multicell adapter board is available here, will my core balancer plugs slot straight in and work with it?
thanks in advance for your help

Do you know what sort of sockets that balancer has?

They will probably be either JST-XH or JST-XS.

JST-EH is the plug and Hyperion does carry that adapter.

We had a conversation with Fred from the TCS, and we were told that the Core LiPo is approved for the TCS

If you look at the updated TCS rules on Tamiyausa.com they list Core RC now as approved lipo. It's pretty much open now to any lipo that is in a hard case.
