Hey guys i was wondering what brand of batteries do you guys prefer ?? Trinity, Reedy, SMC or others if not quoted. Im currently using Team Atlas 3000HV and 3300GP they seem really good if not better than my other nimh batteries.

Everyone around here, (almost everyone), runs Lightspeed Batteries. Sanyo 3000HVs, Sanyo 3300s and GP3300s. Lightspeed for those of you who have not heard of them is a company out of Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area.

Those are all very good choices but I would have to say the SMC's would be your best bet. The numbers you see on them are real, and accurate so you know that if you have a good pack then it really is good. On top of that, the voltage that they have been selling lately is sick. They are selling 1.18s and 30, and don't think the team drivers have better stuff because thats what I have from them. Besides.. how do you beat 1.18s? haha.

Just some food for thought

Pro Match and KMR. Screw the hype!! these guy's are both really good and you won't pay those outrageous prices that Trinity or any other "Big" name will charge you. Also, Jeff at Pro Match has a great site with really good tech info. Check em out. www.promatchracing.com and www.kmrbatteries.com
Good Luck

Promatch for sure. I ordered their 1.7v "factory team" gp 3300 pack on Sunday with assembly and it arrived today built flawlessly. And that was with cheap ups ground shipping!
The numbers were 1.78v to 1.79v to boot! This is my fourth pack from them and the first three did not dissappoint.

They also don't inflate their numbers. Check out the website and you know they are the real deal.

Angry spoils the sport ??

So you mean to tell me most of the time, trinity and the other big names dont put the right ratings in there batteries ?? ?? gees that sux, someone told me fantom is doing that also. That kinda spoils the whole especially when you see the pricing on them.

So how much do promatch or kmr's top batteries cost ??

Dicey- you got some nice packs... I will have to start ordering two packs at a time for now on so I get two really good packs.

What are the times on those packs?

I suggest you go with Promatch, then KMR and then SMC. They all have great cells at a great price.

What's up Mark!!!

Around 398-400. This is my second batch. The first batch the numbers were lower on the scale so I asked for some higher numbers and got them. I think Promatch got some really good cells in this last batch of gp's.

What do you mean second batch? Did he ship them to you and you sent them back for better numbers?

I think he means the re-engineered GP cell (yellow and green label) released a few months ago.
