Mamba Max Questions

I WILL eventunetly get a Mamba MAx system. But Which One?
I will be using it in all my rides. I have an XL5, a TA04S and a Sand Viper.
Should I get the 7700 or the 5700?
Mostly 6 cell GP3300 and some 7 cells IB3600. I dont see my self going LIPO anytime soon. Just a backyard basher here. I would like to have the insane speeds on 6 cells for the TA04S and controlable insane speeds in the Stampede. Can I properly gear a 7700 in a pede for off roading?
Thanks

For what you want to do go with the 7700 and have fun and go fast at the same time. Gearing isn't an issue as long as you gear it for what you want to do, if you want run time then use the recommended gearing that you would use for a low turn modified for the 7700 if you plan on speed running you can over gear it but it will be only used for speed runs or dragracing. Over gearing will damage your set up if you try to run over gearing for run time. I say go with the 7700 and decide on what you want to do but the best advice is gear it correctly and if you aren't sure about gearing your car correctly then contact castle creations and they will guide you and help you with your final drive ratio. Good Luck...

With a Stampede you will blow the transmission up with a 7700 in it pretty easily. With a 15T motor in my neighbors and with the hobbyshop demo Stampede we melt the spyder gears. If you don't mide replacing some gears from time to time and want as fast as they come then get the 7700.
For the TA04 you shouldn't have any real problems as long as you have the proper gear mesh and the diff is set correctly. The 7700 with be insanely fast for what you looking to put in. Hold on.
