Default Sanyo 2400

Hey guys!

I was wondering if the Sanyo 2400s are still a decent pack to run for practice... I know they are a LOT more reliable than 4200s... do you think they'll provide enough punch for stock? I'll charge them at 8 amps to get maximum punch.

yeah but run time blows, typically you will dump before 5 min, run flat at about the 3 min mark. The higher amps you charge them the more punch but you loose at of run time.

i doubt that they would be of any good use if your practicing before a race. They would be too light and too soft. Average voltage from a 2400 was well below even a sport pack 4200 of today..

To just play around and get to know a track or just for fun sure. But if trying to determine gearing or chassis setup. They are not much use..

I notice running a old 3800 during practice of a race night is to soft to compare how my car will run in the heats. I typically find that my car is much much faster once my race packs are in the car
