Tod, the kit setup (the setup outlined in the manual) is actually a great starting point for outdoor asphalt. Start there, with a spool in the front and if you have two gear diffs, build one with 5,000 oil and the other with 10,000 and try them both.

As for spur gears, the mount is what causes the wobble, not the spur itself. I had some luck with putting a set screw in both sides of the spur holder and adjusting the tension on each set screw. It helped some with the wobble.

I will definitle do that on the gear diffs and spur gear mount. i forgot to say that the race is indoor carpet track, sorry.

How do I seal the gear diffs so they don't leak? Also I will have some pics of the car with spec r uni's,rabhobbies front end soon. It looks sweet.

the s400 is the best tc I have ever driven. I am have soo much fun with this car. this car with the exotek top deck is the way to go, I hope the s411 has the same feel.
