Not a clue. I was hoping someone did. If not, anyone have a good setup for a high bite carpet track running foam tires?

And here a pic from the Toy Fair: http://www.rc-junkies.net/toyfair200...lbum=34&pos=18

On Barts car.. they look like Tamiya Shocks with the Blue removed... The Spool looks like a new part, and he is running plastic hubs on the rear,

What excites me the most is the Upper bearing holders are made out of a new material ( stonger ) plus there looks like two different upper bearing holders ( one with additional material .. YEAH BUDDY )

Rene's car looks to have even a newer rear bearing holder design, more like the front, but not quite as tall, So not as much shimming is needed. He also has Orange layshaft mounts. Was Rene running a One way ?

Any idea if this will be an upgrade pack or a new kit or both?, either way im getting it, finally be able to put some thing bigger than a track power 3600 in the car!!
Thanks to the guys that posted the mod of filing .5mm off either end of the top deck and putting the o rings under the top deck screws, the car now goes like a slot car, by far and away the best rc car ive ever driven, gas or electric.

This is a very nice improvement. The extra space for 35c lipo, and the new top deck to allow flex. Now we can hope the release date will come out soon.

Also does anyone in serpent have more information on the car that can be shared? I just got a used S400 and I must say it is nice. Looking at the new car however I see more potential still.

Thanks
Jeff

Good news! I like what i see. If they release that upgrade kit like the 966 it really would be perfect! S400 fans rejoice!

That top deck looks exactly like the Vesa top deck. Is this a coincidence? I run that top deck with tamiya shocks already and both those upgrades improved the already stellar car a ton. I dont know if ill be purchasing the upgrade then but it looks like theyre listening to the racers

Hello, I'm living in the Principality of Monaco (Monte-carlo) in south of Europe and I have exactly the same question : Does anybody know where I can purchase one, or more, Gear Diffs for the S400. I'm looking after this item for at least 3 month without success. Serpent new parts/options are very hard to find in Europe at the moment. I've recently spoke with the official Hungarian Serpent Team driver at the last 1/10 modified Indoor championship (who saw Marc Reinhard winnig again) and he told me that the Gear Diff. will be available again in about 2-3 month !!!
If there's any chance to get it before...let me know.

Friendly regards

Default bearings

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to get the 5x10x3 hub bearings. My local distributer has had them on back order or a while.

The only other option is to replace the hubs with another brand so I can fit the standard 5x10x4 bearings which are readily available. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks
