I used to order bulk bearings on eBay for pretty cheap. I was very happy with all the bearings on my S400. I got replacements thinking I would put a new set on the car for the Reedy race but after blowing them out with motor spray and re-oiling the kit bearings they all feel brand new, no grit at all..

eBay is where I used to get bearings. Now I just use the Serpent ones as they seem to last forever.

I use a 106 spur and a final drive of 9.24 with an Orion 3 turn Vortex motor and 5 cell 4600SHO Orion batteries.

Haven't tried it, but why would you want to replace the stock steel outdrives that barely wear at all with delrin that you'll have to replace fairly often IF you don't break them first?

I agree Randy. The S400 outdrives are so tough!!! Super long lasting wear before play develops or replacents needed. And its LW too.

Have you tried RW spur gears on the S400 yet? I love them cause light and pretty tough, but not sure if they'll work on the S400.

Something's wrong with that pricing though...call them and find out 'cause they do have bulk deals for much better pricing.

quick question on LRP Sphere TC speedo...would you happen to know the Lipo voltage cut-off set on the Sphere TC? Some are telling the Sphere doesnt have such a thing, other are telling it does but don't know what its set at? Hopefully at least at 6v?
