What's the point in using the black grease on the balls instead of the original white one? Thanks!

I think he meant the thrust bearing, which you are supposed to pack with black grease.

No I got the point. They use only the balls under the screw.

Is it long enough on the right side for the dogbone to reach? Does it also need to be shimmed like crazy?
