Butter,

Thanks for posting the setup. What body did you use? Also on the shocks is that 1 hole open or 3 open? Finally that is 48 pitch on the gearing, correct?

Thanks,
Steve

I can answer for Butter... He ran a regular PF Mazda 6 and that is 64p gearing. 3 hole open if I recall from our discussions.

I ran almost the exact same setup, but went with Yellow springs all the way around. and litlle more droop in the rear.

Mike's car was phenomonal in the high bite. Like I have said in the past, our home track is very special, and when the traction is up... it is UP.... We have tires rip off the bead.... not just unglue, but the sidewall rips from the bead, leaving rubber on the bead...

Thanks Tim.....

Corallyman- Tim is correct..it was three holes open...I never know exactly how to indicate the pistons..should I make the ones I used black or the ones I didn't use...LOL!!! I had the same problem with my Xray setup sheets!

Thanks Tim and Mike, all is good.

The 3 open/3 closed is very confusing sometimes. I used to have that issue with the xray setups too when I ran that car. Thanks for the answers though. Is there a write-up on the series that you guys race in. Being up here in cold Washington our outdoor season hasn't started yet.

Thanks,
Steve

You could try Elite RC in the U.K, although you will need to phone them. I ordered one and it arrived today.

www.eliterc.co.uk

Remembering it's a u.k number for you; drop the 0 from the front and add 0044

LOL!!! Sounds like fun...Garrett is probably the single largest consumer of Monster Energy drinks in North America....

Glad that you are running the car...you won't be dissapointed!

new part#401104 1-way set mid shaft Would take the place of the 1-way axle assembly. Cheaper and does the same thing as a 1-way axle.

You dont get the exact same with the center one-way.

You do loose the front brakes tough.

Yj set the car up as per the setup in the manual.
It will be a good reference point for you to work from and in most cases is quite good.

Useing 1-way diff or 1-way mid shaft, you do loose 50% of braking. loose100% of frt braking. Braking is all at the rear wheels. Good on asphalt, carpet depends on driving style and aggressiveness.
