I purchased the 2 Xray springs kits, but when I went to use them, to my sadness they are too long. I have the HPI spring kit, but it is also 2mm too long, but at least I can get my targeted ride height. Anyone have a suggestion on another spring kit that would be good for this car? I know Serpent makes springs, but the variety isn't there.

The schumy one's will only give you a 5mm ground clearence minimum due to their length, be aware of that !

will the sepent GP spring fit well for S400. As for Tamiya, the hop-up all white with colour dot fits as well ?

S400 dominates lsrcc opening race TQ's 19 turn and wins by 2 laps and takes a very strong 2nd place in stock.

This last weekend was the region 4 onroad race. My car exceptionally well as I was able to take the TQ in stock and 19 turn!!! In 19 turn I was able to win every round and stock I won two rounds and the other two I broke do to lack of maintenance but still got TQ. In the main in 19 turn we battled for about two minutes and then I was able to pull away because the other person blew out I had more than a straightaway lead and I had a bad bearing causing the wheel nut to come off. In stock we battled for like 4 minutes then they blew out and I was able to take the win!!

If you get Tamiya's lower spring holders (cups?) You can use just about any spring, it lowers the spring a bit to get less ride height

It is only 1mm down type.. it still won't be enough for the xray springs, they are about 4mm too long. I will order them though a measure! Thanks for the tip!

I'm using the Tamiya 1mm down type spring retainers which seem to be perfect for 23mm springs.

On a different note, I have had 2 front dogbones sheer, ok I might not be the best driver out there but it isn't something I have ever experienced before with other cars. Can I fit other make dogbones?

would you really want to advertise the results from a race where you finished 2 laps ahead of the competition?

If its 2 laps, a TT01 driven well could beat them

Bryan was able to pull off an 11.9 lap time in 19T, which was on pace with some mod lap times! The S400 was flying!
