Yea, it is getting difficult to find S400 parts. There are still many S400 parts at RC-Mushroom http://www.rc-mushroom.com/advanced_...s=S400&x=0&y=0

Yes, they have some. Some are out of stock though. You just have to add them to the basket for the site to tell you that.

The Yokomo diff I tried in my S400 was just a little too wide and it did not spin freely once you tightened down the bulkheads.

Hmm was looking at getting one of these second hand for a bit of part time carpet racing to complement the outdoor racing while the weather is crappy in the UK.

I'm a little discouraged now but in my price bracket I don't have a huge amount of options. Bearing in mind I'm new to RC in general what sorts of spares am I likely to need i.e. what are the weak parts of the car so I can least try and find alternatives using the optional parts thread as reference? I'm working to the assumption that I am going to break stuff (I'm still a rubbish driver lol) so want to get an idea of how quickly/cheaply I can find replacements.

Thanks in advance for any help!
